This project presents a strategic design intervention to combat this trend, merging typographic innovation with enhanced wayfinding techniques. The goal is to capture the attention of pedestrians, especially those distracted by their devices, by seamlessly integrating critical safety messaging into the urban environment. By embedding visual safety cues in high-risk areas, this project aspires to foster safer, more attentive public spaces.

Objective

The primary aim is to reduce accidents caused by inattention in everyday public settings—think tripping hazards, vehicular crossings, and construction zones. This initiative combines eye-catching, strategic typographic design with refreshed wayfinding signage to:

• Staircases and Escalators: Strategic prompts remind users to remain attentive in high-risk locations.

• Urban Parks and Trails: Safety reminders encourage a balance between digital engagement and environmental awareness.
