To create an immersive experience, I recorded audio samples directly from the bustling streets of Haeundae. Starting in the subway, I captured the distinctive sound of the station announcement, signifying my arrival at this vibrant location. As I ascended the stairs and made my way towards the beach, I carefully recorded the ambient sounds of the bustling crowd, providing a genuine sense of the energetic environment. Upon reaching the shore, I meticulously captured the sound of crashing waves and the murmurs of people, emphasizing the challenge of delicately separating and manipulating these two audio elements to achieve the desired effect of alternating volume.

Utilizing the street sounds I collected, I crafted the background audio for my project, refining and enhancing the audio samples using Adobe's Audition program. Additionally, I utilized a microphone in my home studio to capture the distinctive sounds of my camera. Each sound, such as the satisfying "thud" of placing my bag on the desk, the unzipping of the camera bag, the power-on sound, and the clicking of the shutter, were meticulously recorded individually. Some sounds, like the shutter click, were intentionally repeated to emulate the experience of photographing people and the ocean.

To add a playful and clever dimension to my project, I incorporated digital sounds such as phone clicks, the pairing sound of my AirPods, and the opening notes of Ed Sheeran's "Photograph." These digital elements further enhance the thematic connection of my project, infusing a contemporary and lighthearted touch.

Overall, this project encapsulates my deep connection to Haeundae, showcasing the vibrant street scenes, the serene ocean ambiance, and the artistry of photography in a dynamic and immersive manner.
